Organised groups

To ensure that all our guests can tour the museum comfortably, we require groups numbering more than 10 participants to reserve a date and time for their visit. Groups can also arrange guided tours in either Polish or English.

Specifics, including pricing, vary across the museum’s locations:

Palace of the Poznański Family | The Museum of the City of Łódź

Depending on the group’s interests, visitors can either explore the palace’s interiors and learn about the legacy of the Poznański family or tour permanent exhibitions that focus more broadly on Łódź, showcasing the city’s political, cultural, and social history.

Reservations

All groups of 10 participants or more must reserve an entry time. Guided tours must be arranged ahead of time. Due to limited guide availability, we recommend contacting us at least 14 days in advance.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, we allow outside guides to lead groups around the palace. The Museum frequently organises courses for local guides to keep them up to date with changes to our exhibitions and arrangements. Note, however, that such groups must also reserve an entry time.

To enter the palace as a single group, a tour cannot number more than 25 participants. Larger groups must be split between two or more guides, meaning that there may be fewer available dates and times when we can accommodate such a tour. This rule also applies to groups touring with external guides.

During tours of the museum, most groups focus primarily on the palace interiors on the first floor – spectacular rooms and halls dating mostly from the first years of the twentieth century. Weather permitting, groups can also visit the adjacent garden. A guided tour generally takes 90 minutes to complete.

Yes, but only in the case of groups that tour the museum on their own or with a city guide. Such groups do enter the museum for free on Wednesdays. Of course, group entry reservations are required. A group that tours the museum with one of our guides on a Wednesday is subject to standard ticketing.
