Palace of the Poznański Family
Since its founding in 1975, the museum has been dedicated to documenting and presenting the story of Łódź and the people who shaped it. It collects and showcases historical materials, explores the city’s history through research, and helps audiences discover Łódź, both past and present.
“Dętka” Sewer Museum
Hidden beneath Liberty Square in Łódź, the sewer known in Polish as “Dętka” (meaning “tube” or “inner tube” in English) is a landmark of hydrotechnical engineering from the interwar period. Built as a rainwater collector, the oval sewer can now be explored by visitors during the summer months.

The Museum of Sport and Tourism
The Museum of Sport and Tourism is located in the Lodz University of Technology’s modern athletic centre (Zatoka Sportu). Its permanent exhibition, “Faster, Higher, Stronger,” traces the history of sport and tourism in Łódź from the 19th century to the present, set within a broader social and cultural context that highlights links between physical activity, politics, and public life.
